Good evening and Happy Sunday and Happy Labor Day Eve!!!
I hope this blog finds you in the best of health and spirits. As for myself, I’ve been battling a sinus infection of sorts for a week now!!! I can barely breathe, my throat feels like a baby dragon has hatched in there and quite frankly I just want to sleep LOL! But that brings me to a more pressing topic, my health and the health of the ones I love. After having several eye-opening discussions with one of my girlfriends, she shared her concern about my daughter possibly having Heavy Metal Toxicity. She said that when teens sleep a lot, have mood changes or sometimes may seem a little distant, it could be signs of this condition. I never thought about it but I guess it’s possible.
We try to eat right, I mean I’ve done vegan challenges, tried to be a vegetarian and I believe I’m going to land somewhere around pescatarian. That’s when you eat seafood, fruits, and veggies. I had an epiphany this week… You ready??? It doesn’t matter how clean we eat IF our environment is still full of toxins in the cleaning supplies, detergents and other household products we use! So I rediscovered Melaleuca. Melaleuca is a wellness company that has mostly anything and everything you could need for your home and body and they are non-toxic, chemical free and biodegradable!!! I joined on 8/31 and got my first order on 9/1 (#betterthanprime)!!!
The company is very similar to Sam’s Club or Costco. You pay an annual membership fee and then you just place monthly orders for the things you need! Typically, the fee is $19 but they are running a special right now for $1 and you won’t pay the $19 until next year!!! That’s less than 50% of what we pay for other memberships. If that wasn’t good enough, they also have access to many of the big box retailers we know and love such as Macy’s, Old Navy and Disney in their Marketplace with up to 30% in rebates and earnings in customer referrals!!! If you are interested in becoming a member please feel free to contact me!!!
xoxo
